Our marathon day....

What a day Jeremy and I had today. Only God could have brought us through this day so smoothly.

6:45 am - Jeremy takes first round of documents to Secretary of State in Madison
8:55 - Kara gets required labs and x-ray done at hospital
9:55 - Jeremy calls Kara b/c she has taken both sets of keys to hospital leaving him unable to get to the hospital for his 10am labs - oops, sorry honey!
10:15 - Jeremy has labs and x-ray done at hospital
11:00 - Talk with social worker at home study agency, firm up last minute changes to home study update
12:00 - Jeremy and Kara drive to Johnson Creek and meet social worker there, in the mall parking lot, to get update (Shout out to our amazing social worker at ECFA! She worked so hard with us this past week to get our documents done in such a rush. Paperwork for Russia is hard, and not only on us but her too. We appreciate our social worker.)
1:00 - Drive from Johnson Creek to Madison, pick up a last minute required document at a state office, and continue to Secretary of State office.
1:45 - Leave SOS office with all our documents (those brought this morning by Jeremy and the last two we brought in with us and paid the expedite fee to get them done while we waited).
2:30 - Jeremy and Kara exit the Kinko's/FedEx store and high five each other! Woohoo. All the documents we needed yet, done, apostilled, copied and off to our adoption agency. Tomorrow they will arrive there and our coordinator at America World will send them on to Russia.

And from there we continued on for a celebratory trip to BabiesR'Us! This week we will go back to our doctors to get our medical lab reports. These reports (which thankfully don't need apostilles) and one last document we already have but need to get to the right people in Moscow... are all we need to bring our baby girl home. Well, as far as documents go. And of course, there's always the chance the judge will request another document or more... but of course we hope we're all set. Thank you so much for your prayers... they make a difference!

We can't wait to bring you home Maella, all this is worth your little soul, over and over again.
