oh no, NO NAP???

We got some not so good news today. We found out the time between our flights is not going to allow enough time for a nap at the "nap/layover hotel". We ask that you please pray for our health and stamina while we are in Russia.

We will be traveling for 30 hours straight just to get to our child's region: 2 hour drive to o'hare, 2 hours in airport, 10+ hours on the plane to moscow, 1+ hour in customs and baggage, 2+ hours in a car transfering to a different airport, 4-5 hours "resting" in a (military run) airport, 5 hours on our flight to kras, and then another 1-2 hours in a car to our hotel in kras. then we get a precious 3-4 hour nap and shower and then we are off to the ministry of education and then to meet our daughter. on top of that we will have a 13 hour leap forward in time.

I also want to take this moment to recognize a couple blessings along the way. The doctor we consulted with for his analysis of our daughter's medical information, charged us nothing for the consultation (that is not very common). And when we booked our flights yesterday, we got AMAZING prices, far below what we were expecting! Yippee!

Oh sheesh! When you spell it out like that, it's a little scary! But hopefully you'll be able to sleep on the plane and maybe in the car. Congrats on finding cheap airfare!

That nap cost $180.00! We opt not to buy that nap. You will be tired but it's going to be okay. Hopefully you will be able to nap on the plane. Enjoy the trip. We have been home three weeks now with our 10 year old daughter.

Krasnoyark has a Zoo Park. Check it out. It is amazing. You get on bus #50 and it will take you straight to it. It would give you something to do during your ten day waiting period on your second trip. Your first trip is very hectic!!!!
